Testing Location / Arrival Instructions

Approved testing location: 1500 Pinckney Rd, Howell, MI 48843

Testing site status

  • Livingston County Testing Service has long operated from this approved testing location.

  • The organization has written permission from the hotel/property owner.

  • The written owner statement is filed with the State.

  • The site is approved for testing use.

Arrival instructions

  • Applicants should arrive 5 minutes early.

  • Testing is by appointment only.

  • Applicants should go to the south side of the parking lot.

  • Applicants should wait in their vehicle.

  • The examiner will greet the applicant when the scheduled appointment time begins.

Hotel/property instructions

  • Applicants should not go into the hotel for road test questions.

  • Applicants should not call or ask hotel staff about the road test.

  • All road test questions, scheduling questions, payment questions, policy questions, or arrival issues must be directed to Livingston County Testing Service.

Restrooms/waiting area

  • There are no public restrooms available for road test customers.

  • Applicants and parents/guardians should plan accordingly.

  • There is no indoor waiting area for parents/guardians.
